Haven’t put this up yet, but my expectations are very positive. Love the weight and look of the paper.. Marsha. Queenstown, MD. Fri May 22 2026

Perhaps William Morris’s most recognizable design, Strawberry Thief, was inspired by the thrushes that crept under Morris’s strawberry nets in his garden at Kelmscott Manor, Oxfordshire. The original pattern took several days to print using hand-carved woodblocks to build up the different colors, and ‘Strawberry Thief’ was consequently one of Morris’s firm’s most expensive cottons. While waiting to see the first piece printed, Morris endured sleepless nights in his lodgings at Merton Abbey. Designed in 1883, Strawberry Thief remains one of William Morris’s most popular and iconic designs. Strawberry Thief provides a depth of rich color, partnered with pops of lighter tones to accentuate the detail within the design. This matte finish wallpaper invites the outdoors in, in a complementing and easy on the eye manner.

Beautiful wallpaper but very hard to install. The paper was extremely difficult to cut. Despite difficult installation I love the end result. I enjoy that the paper has zero sheen.. Taylor. West Palm Beach, FL. Tue Jul 21 2026

Reportedly one of Morris's favorite designs and originally produced in 1876, this wallpaper features clusters of snakeshead fritillaries and is an ideal wallpaper to team with larger-scale Morris fabrics. Available in a wide range of earthy colorways, this design is also available as a fabric of the same name.

It is William Morris so the design is fabulous. The quality of the paper itself and the ease of application are both also stellar. It transformed the powder room. (Hint It is complemented by wainscoting).. Homeowner. NC. Wed Jul 24 2024
