This is the original, the one that’s set the standard for all fireclay farmhouse sinks with the classic apron front design. The Lancaster™ is made by hand in the same way since 1897 and still in use today in 100-year old English homes. Named for the county of Lancashire, the region where Shaws® sinks are made, the Lancaster has thicker walls and a lustrous surface that’s glazed not once, but twice. Durable, distinctive, and authentic, the Lancaster is for those who seek an original and believe that making a statement is one they make for themselves.

The Shaker™ apron front fireclay sink is a modern interpretation of the 1897 original. Named for the design movement that believed less is more, this Shaker farmhouse sink takes a minimalist approach. Instead of the iconic apron front with rounded corners, the Shaker has a clean, rectangular shape with squared-off sides and thinner walls for a slimmer, more minimal look. Durable and lustrous, its classic farmhouse roots and authenticity are always apparent. And like all Shaws sinks, the Shaker is made by hand to last a lifetime.
