The Tovolo Spatulart Sunflower Field Silicone Spatula with Wood Handle brings a sunflower field illustration to the kitchen, a cheerful, summery touch for everyday baking. Yellow sunflowers and green leaves cover both sides of the head. Beneath the design is a hard-working spatula. A sturdy nylon Flex-Core inside the silicone head tackles thick batters and hearty doughs, and the flexible edges scrape bowls clean. The edges taper to a sharp point to reach under jar lips and into bowl corners, while a rounded corner fits tight spots and the angled head scoops with ease. The BPA-free silicone is heat safe to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and will not scratch nonstick, ceramic or cast iron. The removable silicone head is dishwasher safe. Hand wash the FSC-certified beechwood handle with mild soap and water to protect its finish.

Design is on both sides. Branding engraved into wooden handle on one side. Dishwasher safe. BPA free. Spatula head is heat resistant up to 600°F. Obviously food safe silicone. The spatula head surface is smooth, which hopefully means that design won’t peel or scratch off, but it hasn’t gone through any washings yet, so I can’t say for sure. The sunflowers are pretty sharp, clarity-wise and the design makes sense (no obvious mistakesweird bits). I am pleased.. Natalie. Placerville, CA. Sun Sep 22 2024
