I ordered this hood in matte white and it arrived fast and n perfect condition. I love that it has a simple sleek design. The brand name and buttons are not noticible. It looks exactly like the picture and functions well, but there are a few things future buyers should know before purchasing.
First, I was a little surprised that after spending $1,500, there are "additional tools" and parts for installation are not included. No local hardware stores carried a short 8" diameter duct connector or the 1" screw cramp tool. Luckily, my contractor went to HD and was able to figure it out the tools he needed to get the job done, but it was an additional expense.
Second, be mindful of the color if you have white kitchen. I ordered the matte white finish, but next to my white cabinets the hood appears to have a slight gray undertone.
Third - i dont think it is 600+ rpm. The air circulation and smoke/odor removal is good, but i was expecting a higher suction power.
Finally, the control buttons feel quite delicate. It works fine for me, but it might not be the best option for a heavy-handed person.. Alexandra. Johns Creek, GA. Thu Oct 22 2026
