The Scoville Counter Stool is part of the Thom Filicia Home Collection, classic simplicity while introducing a fresh, modern flair. The result is a unique look where refined details mix with raw materials and industrial elements play against organic features. Thom uses colors, textures, and patterns in innovative ways to create a collection with a sophisticated, yet authentic point of view.

Meticulously crafted by Vanguard Furniture’s master artisans, this stool is a testament to the beauty of hand-applied finishes and thoughtful construction. Sculpted from premium maple with a supportive webbed seat, the design is defined by an intentionality that enhances the natural character of the timber. Every piece is a singular expression of craft, ensuring that no two silhouettes are identical. Anchored by an antiqued brass kickplate for both resilience and refined contrast, this stool serves as a sophisticated, architectural addition to any interior landscape.

Stools are solid with a comfortably ample-sized seat. Nail head detail and metal foot plate are great. Four stars because I ordered them in mid-September to get them by Thanksgiving; didn’t get them until early February. Order “got lost,” re-ordered, but was “backordered” and then “delayed.”. Joelle.
