Very sturdy. The hikes, however should be tighter so the washers don’t crack the wood when tightening.. James. Altoona, PA. Tue Sep 01 2026

Unlike a traditional bookcase, this stately etagere bookcase has an airy, open silhouette that's super inviting. The frame is made from a series of steel rectangles with a brushed antique gold finish. Four fixed wood shelves made from solid acacia veneers provide a sturdy surface for books, candles, vases, and just about any other accent you can imagine. We love the contrast of the dark walnut finish against the metal frame. This bookcase also comes with a tip-over restraint device for safety, and to help you easily mount it to your wall if desired.

This etagere bookcase combines a clean, architectural silhouette with a mixed-material look for a modern feel in your space. It's crafted with five acacia wood shelves held in place by a vertical iron frame on either side. The open structure creates a light, balanced profile that works well in any room without feeling heavy.
