Defined by lyrical forms and broken lines, the poetry of abstract expressionism was born out of the surrealist movement in art. Within Poem in the Clouds 1, this innovative tradition is brought to life on canvas. Marked by unfinished linear forms and an ethereal palette of tranquil blues, grays, and whites, the viewer is encouraged to enjoy a quiet moment of reflection brought on by the dreamlike state of this mesmerizing piece. Drawing a delicate balance between lighter and darker elements, Poem in the Clouds 1 is an elegant composition of abstract forms and soothing swirls of color. An original addition to the carefully curated Art by TA collection.

"Drifting into the Abstract 1" is a mesmerizing work on canvas that recalls the soak-staining technique developed by American Abstractionist Helen Frankenthaler. Using thinned layers of color, translucency, and saturation are achieved across the entirety of the canvas, broken up only by a thin line that composes the abstract horizon. Muted tones on the top of the canvas, while the bottom half is more densely formed in subtle shades. This art is a masterpiece on canvas.
