The Antique American Hooked Small Scatter Size Wool Ivory Rug is a charming example of early 20th-century American folk textile artistry. Hand-crafted circa 1935, this rectangular rug features a dense wool pile with a 0.5-inch height, offering a durable and comforting surface. The design showcases a warm ivory field decorated with highly stylized botanical motifs in muted tones of rose, rust, and pale blue. An allover pattern of repeating geometric compartments houses distinct floral sprays and vase motifs, all sharply outlined in black for a graphic quality. This small scatter size rug is ideal for transitional spaces like hallways, landings, or bedside areas. it provides a unique textural contrast and historical depth to any contemporary interior.

This hand-knotted wool area rug showcases classic Serapi-style patterning with a central medallion, surrounded by stylized florals and geometric motifs on a ground. and touches of rust create a traditional palette, while the artisan knotting delivers authentic texture and character. The intricate border frames the composition, adding depth and vintage appeal that suits both classic and eclectic interiors.

This exceptional rug exudes timeless charm with its ushak-inspired motifs, elegant florals, and trendy color palettes. Crafted with premium wool rich blend yarns, each rug undergoes meticulous hand-binding and a special finishing wash to enhance its unique luster.

Hand-knotted by skilled artisans in India. The Fillmore Collection reimagines traditional patterns with an updated look and feel. Made of 100% wool, each piece offers a thick pile, a heavy knit, and beautifully saturated colors.

Colors are very muted, not what the upclose photos really indicated. The hand knotted yarn is very thick- I have never seen a hand knotted rug made with such thick yarn. But we are keeping it- the furnishings in the room will be right enough to offset the muted coloring.. Judy. Charlottesville, VA. Mon Jun 01 2026
