Marly is linen velvet, woven in four chains on complex looms featuring a lush, all-over foliage design. The light relief effect is created by the different methods of treating the velvet: cut and uncut. The fabric is particularly suitable for upholstery. This velvet is inspired by the tapestry "verdure" of the period and named after Louis XIV’s preferred castle located near Paris. The landscape architect for Château de Marly had created paths through the woods lined by trellis in order to contain the exuberance of the robust trees that filled the grounds. Pulling inspiration from these wonderful woods and tapestries of the time, Colony created the beloved Marly design. Marly is in a coordinating linen blend fabric and is offered in sophisticated, two-earth tone colorways.

This pillow features a Chiang Mai dragon with a self-welt finish. An instant hit from the moment we introduced it, this is one of our best-loved designs. The chinoiserie motif was inspired by an Art Deco print. Pillow includes a feather/down fill insert and hidden zipper closure.
