Rug was a little pricey but worth every dollar and the long wait! I expected background to be lighter (beige/cream) offering more contrast to the mustard, but instead it was more like a light tan. The Decor collection is hand tufted and made in India. The pile material is a pure new wool, the backing is made of cotton and latex. The pile height is 12 mm, the total height is 17 mm. The pile weight is 2500 gr/sqm, the total weight is 4500 gr/sqm.

Maija Isola's Isot Kivet (stones) design builds on circles cut with scissors. The pattern was most likely inspired by the big rough-edged stones that were manually cleared from the designer's atelier home's grounds.
