While most furniture takes up space, gathering islands create it. The two-tiered surface of the Walnut Grove gathering island sits upon elegantly tapered a-frame legs. When paired with 25-inch counter stools, it provides a place to work or relax that is beautiful and functional. Crafted from American black walnut.

This was a wonderful purchase, very versatile. I have it set under a wide window in my studio apartment. I use it all day for work. It provides extra seating and a place to dine in my very tiny apartment without overwhelming the space. Looks great with my other walnut grove pieces.. Constance Hope. Beaufort, SC. Wed Dec 17 2025

Reflecting the characteristics of rural architecture and pastoral charm, Arcadian is a collection of occasional, dining, and home office pieces. Embracing the allure of imperfection, the pieces feature a heavily-distressed patina of scratches, knots, and nicks in a natural, burnished oak finish.

Gray-finished oak shapes an elongated console table, rich with reeding. Subtly rounded edges reflect Brazilian midcentury inspiration behind this crafted minimalist piece. Designed in partnership with longtime Birch Lane™ collaborator Thomas Bina and designer Ronald Sasson.

A beautiful piece that looks far more expensive for the price. Excellent customer service (I needed delayed delivery and Perigold accomodated).. Lisa. Houston, TX. Thu Apr 02 2026
