Contemporary style and a modern feel in this area rug elevate your living room, dining room, or office. It shows off an array of tone-on-tone stripes of ivory for a light, neutral foundation in your living space. We love that its distressed touch adds a vintage-inspired look. Hand-loomed from a blend of cotton, linen, and viscose, it features a low pile that won't trip up your feet or your vacuum in high-traffic areas like hallways and entryways. To add extra cushioning and keep it in place on your floors, just add a rug pad.

Subtle tone-on-tone stripes give the collection a depth and sophistication all its own. These rugs can pull the disparate elements of a room into a beautifully cohesive whole; they can also introduce an unexpected but welcome jolt of color into an otherwise neutral space. Handcrafted by skilled artisans, they will stand up to heavy traffic for years while maintaining their elegance.

Well constructed, very nice design, will go perfectly in my coastal dining room!. Leslie Frances. New York. Thu Feb 19 2026

This understated rug brings a simple modern style to your living room, bedroom, or home office. It features a striped textured weave in shades of ivory and gray. This indoor rug is hand-knotted and constructed of wool, cotton, and viscose. With a .25" low pile height, this rug is easy to vacuum, making it just right for your living room, dining room, or hallway. To care for it, vacuum with no beater bar/rotating brush and spot clean with a dry cloth. We recommend a rug pad (sold separately) for additional cushioning and stability.

The rug is beautiful and is very soft. My only complaint is that it shows footprints (color goes from dark to light) fairly easily. So the rug can have a lot of random shading after stepping on it a lot.. Janine. Tue Jun 11 2024

Fresh, spirited, and above all, luxurious, the rugs of the Modern collection can invigorate a traditional room as gracefully as they can ground a more contemporary space. Regardless of their color and style, there is just one thing about these rugs that are not modern: Each is painstakingly handcrafted by artisans using time-honored techniques.
