Fresh, spirited, and above all, luxurious, the rugs of the Modern collection can invigorate a traditional room as gracefully as they can ground a more contemporary space. Regardless of their color and style, there is just one thing about these rugs that are not modern: Each is painstakingly handcrafted by artisans using time-honored techniques.

Gorgeous Rug. Soft, plush and excellent quality.. Kelly. Sun Feb 02 2025

Fresh and airy, this area rug elevates your living room, dining room, or office with a classic style that's right at home in farmhouse aesthetics. It shows off a solid ivory hue that anchors your space with a light neutral foundation. Handmade from a blend of wool and cotton in a flatweave construction, it features a low 0.2'' pile height that won't trip up your feet or your vacuum in high-traffic areas like hallways and entryways. Plus, it's safe to use on heated floors. To keep it in place and add a touch of cushioning, we recommend placing a rug pad underneath.

Beautiful rug, looks exactly like the picture. Jennifer. Marlboro, NJ. Mon Sep 11 2023

Love this rug it’s very high. quality and looks perfect in my clients .sitting room. Very pleased but was a hassle as it was priced at a much lower price when I purchased it… and then they canceled it and tried to charge me double for it and wouldn’t honor the price I paid. I didn’t realize they have the right to do that so read the info carefully. The customer service person was kind and said she could give me 10% off but didn’t want to deal with it so just paid the price…. Not at all happy about that.. Tresa. Wilsonville, OR. Sat Dec 31 2022

This understated rug brings a simple modern style to your living room, bedroom, or home office. It features a striped textured weave in shades of ivory and gray. This indoor rug is hand-knotted and constructed of wool, cotton, and viscose. With a .25" low pile height, this rug is easy to vacuum, making it just right for your living room, dining room, or hallway. To care for it, vacuum with no beater bar/rotating brush and spot clean with a dry cloth. We recommend a rug pad (sold separately) for additional cushioning and stability.

The rug is beautiful and is very soft. My only complaint is that it shows footprints (color goes from dark to light) fairly easily. So the rug can have a lot of random shading after stepping on it a lot.. Janine. Tue Jun 11 2024

It shows off a solid field of ivory that creates a subtle, neutral foundation in your living space with a brightening effect under your furniture. Handmade from a blend of wool and cotton, it features a low 0.2'' pile height that won't trip up your feet or your vacuum in high-traffic areas like hallways and entryways. Plus, it's easy to clean with a vacuum when it needs a refresh. To keep it in place and add an extra touch of cushioning, just add a rug pad underneath.

It took a while to unwrap and unravel but looks just as I had hoped and has the thickness and color I was looking for.. Deborah. Prescott, AZ. Wed Aug 31 2022

A textured, sophisticated base for any room, the Niels Handwoven Wool Rug is skillfully woven from natural wool and viscose, which provides a luxuriously silky luster.

This is a beautiful rug. Nice quality material and the weave is has a chunky raised effect which I love. I was looking for a medium blue color, but I took a chance on this one because it is a mix of navy and white.. Michelle. Hillsboro, OR. Sun Aug 16 2026
