This chair is sporting some very deep tufting on the dark leather. Take a look at the turned legs. They added castors on the front legs and jute to the outside back. Pure Aniline top-grade cow leather. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight/heat some color variation is common and acceptable on vintage leather.

Named for our Stickley co-founder, Leopold Stickley, and based on one of his favorite designs, Leopold's chair and ottoman are defined by deep, hand-crafted tufting and nailhead trim accents. The chair's distinctive, gently sloping back makes it extremely comfortable, especially when you put your feet up! And its wraparound arms, carved from the finest cherry, fit the curve of your hand like they were made for it.

I bought this chair in green leather. its very well made and has old world charm/beautiful details, i might even say gorgeous. The chair is on the smaller size, which for me, was planned for the intended space. I worked with a designer consultant from wayfair on this purchase, to ensure the item worked in the space and in the context of the other furniture. very thankful for the help. end result is 110%.. A relaxed version of the classic wing chair silhouette, the Blakeley Club Chair is inviting upholstered in the Covington Bogue handwiped aniline top grain leather with an authentic and soft casual hand, trimmed with vintage nailheads. Legs have a dark wood finish.

It's beautiful, simply beautiful. I've always loved a sort of look from the 1700's and the high back winged chair covered in leather fit the bill perfectly. And while I strive for elegance especially for the sake of my children, I'm forever mindful of those who don't have the means for such surroundings and it's important to me and the children to choose items that will last a lifetime. And along with that we work very hard to financially help those who have nothing. So while I cherish the elegance of this chair I consider it a blessing and something to be shared with others. Thank you so much.. Brian Smullen. Oakton Virginia. Sun Oct 15 2023
