This pad is NOT NON-SLIP and is designed to be anchored by furniture or heavy rugs that stay in place on their own. For non-slip applications, try one of our felt and rubber options. Our pads are manufactured in the USA with the highest quality materials. This rug pad is low VOC with no added chemicals, glues, adhesives, or PVC. The solid style woven padding that is breathable and works by catching any dirt and contaminants that may fall through your rug and onto your floors finish. This pad also features a dense (28 oz) felt that is soft enough to gently support your rug with no damage to the floors finish while making your rug more comfortable. The heat pressed side has a Hook & Loop Fastener-like effect with the rugs backing to stop the rug from bunching which can stress the weave of your rug and this too also helps preserve the rug. Eco-Plush's 3/8" dense felt also works to absorb some of the impact from walking, running, or dropped objects and also offers acoustical and sound insulating benefits.

The size we needed.Seems to be a good fit for us. Nice and thick and was fairly easy to cut. Rae-vinnette. Lincoln, CA. Fri May 08 2026

100% Felt rug pad designed to add comfort and floor protection under rugs. Reversible for use on hard surfaces and carpet, ideal for uneven surfaces, and reduces puckering under heavy furniture. It can be cut at home to custom-fit any rug. Ideally, the rug pad should be cut approximately 1-2" short of the rug perimeter. Your rug pad dimensions will be a few inches shorter than the size of the area rug. This is NOT a defect nor is it the wrong item, the rug pads are made this way to avoid causing the rug to have a lip which would get in the way of walking, a door opening etc.

Easy to work with and does ther job well!. Corinne. Lloyd Harbor, NY. Mon Oct 05 2026
