With its retro-futuristic design, the Phasme is the first model born from the revival of the Rispal house. Drawing from the brand's DNA, the Phasme incorporates the main characteristics of its ancestor, the Praying Mantis, except the lampshade is made out of mouth blown oplaine. This insect-like lamp can serve as either an office or bedside light. Beyond merely illuminating, this "little creature" exudes a significant presence. The electric cord is in anthracite gray fabric but other colors available upon request. Georges Leon Rispal founded his lighting company in Paris in 1924, achieving notable success by the early 1950s with the "Formes Nouvelles" catalog, which offered avant-garde lighting influenced by Scandinavian design. Inspired by Rispal's innovative approach, Douglas Mont relaunched the iconic models, preserving the brand's original style and avant-garde spirit.

A reinterpretation

This table lamp has an original oak base. The soft curves of the shade are both homely and inviting, the light creating a soft glow around the room. The sympathetic combination of glass and wood suggests both nature and nurture.

This lamp is so unique and a chic addition to any room. The wooden base is a rich wood tone and the clear glass gives it a touch of elegance!. Ash Nyc. Brooklyn, NY. Wed Jun 01 2022

AMELIA is a tabletop designed by Héctor Serrano, with a very light style, with sinuous and organic shapes that blend in and subtly enrich the space. The rounded diffuser gives it a larger emitting surface and prevents glare, making it perfect for ambient lighting.
