Inspired by the same design philosophy which pivots around simplicity and honesty within the Afteroom series, the Afteroom coat hanger also draws its references from Bauhaus and Modernism. The coat hanger is a simple yet sophisticated hanging system for coats, clothes, or accessories and is easily fixed to the wall, with all screws hidden to compliment the minimalistic and clean aesthetic. The existing version of the coat hanger can now be expanded to further configurations, as the large "dot" features a new, bigger design, while the smaller "dot" sees its size being decreased to that of the original. This gives the Afteroom coat hanger a spruced-up look and a touch of playfulness, as it can be hung both horizontally and vertically, beautifying blank walls in any area of the home by transforming them from stark canvases to pieces of art. Can be installed horizontally or vertically

Loved this, I paired it with the two hook version and it looks great. Only issue was it came with 4 anchors and screws but has six holes so I had to add two more from my supply.. Shumona. New Rochelle, NY. Fri Nov 03 2023

Clean lines, intuitive function, and innate beauty define the Epoch clothes rack by Nina Bruun, one of two new designs from the Danish designer. Updating the ubiquitous coat rack and working from the idea of concealing unsightly hangers and tags behind something beautiful, the minimally elegant design profiles a considered combination of gently rounded edges, warm wood, and discreet functionality. Developed and perfected over time, it is characterized by soft bands of undulating wood that sit like sculptures on a wall. Referencing 1950s design aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship, Epoch is pure in both form and material.

I bought this for the aesthetics, and I got what I was looking for - it's a beautiful & elegant coat hanger, looks great! If you're considering this coat rack you should also be aware that the good looks come with a small cost to function. The coat pegs themselves are a little stubbier than I'd like. But mainly, the fact that the front of the rack is covered means that you have to hang your coats by lifting them up INTO the rack from the bottom. This can mean that you sometimes end up pushing the entire coat rack up from its attachment to the wall if you're clumsy, which can feel the opposite of elegant and refined. For me it's still worth it because the aesthetic design outweighs some functional nits.. Patrick. Brooklyn, NY. Thu Mar 20 2025
