First introduced by Stephanie Odegard in 1987, Odegard revolutionized the world of hand-knotted luxurious contemporary carpets. With an unrivaled commitment to quality and sophisticated design, Odegard Carpets has been at the leading edge of modern carpet production for decades. All Odegard Carpets are unique, starting with carefully selected Himalayan wool, which is hand-carded and hand-spun by Tibetan and Nepalese craftspeople, using centuries-old techniques. Odegard Carpets production strictly adheres to the highest standards of eco and social responsibility, raising the standard of living for thousands of artisan weavers in Nepal. All Odegard Carpets are made by hand and there will be slight variations in the design as well as color variances and some abrash in the wool.

Bold in color and modern in style, these fresco-inspired designs appear as though painted by hand. The Leonardo wool and silk rug collection is finely crafted with hand-carded wool and hand-spun, hand-carved silk, which brings a unique texture.

Handwoven in Indian wool and silk in a Tibetan weave.

Hand-knotted by skilled artisans in India, The Fillmore Collection reimagines traditional patterns with an updated look and feel. Made of 100% wool, each piece offers a thick pile, a heavy knit, and beautifully saturated colors.

Colors are very muted, not what the upclose photos really indicated. The hand knotted yarn is very thick- I have never seen a hand knotted rug made with such thick yarn. But we are keeping it- the furnishings in the room will be right enough to offset the muted coloring.. Judy. Charlottesville, VA. Mon Jun 01 2026
