Absolutely gorgeous. I purchased several of these after prolonged search. The craftsmanship is very good and it has a solid weight. Granted they are more expensive than other door hardware, however if your aim is to have a different decor than the norm, one that you do not plan to change with your next remodel you should consider these. I could advise that because the detailing lends itself to a more Europeancentric styling (Victorian, Regency, Tuscan, etcetera), these would not be appropriate for decor that is excessively simple, shabby chic, modern or ultramodern.. The set is really good quality. It definitely has the feel of a quality product. The knob turns smoothly and the detail looks authentic. My one complaint is that it says “nostalgic” on the lock set. To me that completely took away from the authentic feel. I didn’t notice this detail when I bought it. I understand the need to brand the product, I guess it is ironic that this piece that is meant to look authentic would have that on it.
