The set is really good quality. It definitely has the feel of a quality product. The knob turns smoothly and the detail looks authentic. My one complaint is that it says “nostalgic” on the lock set. To me that completely took away from the authentic feel. I didn’t notice this detail when I bought it. I understand the need to brand the product, I guess it is ironic that this piece that is meant to look authentic would have that on it. We had this brand at our old house. They have since changed up the inner workings which in one case is great and in another bad. The good part is the door knobs no longer get screwed on and thats a huge plus. The bad part is the door can be shut with the door in the locked position. It doesnt unlock unless the interior knob is turned. The knobs can also bind up if the faceplate is attached too tight to the door.
