The Sabie Collection

Maximalist design leaps off the fabric of our tea towel from south African ceramic art and design house Ardmore. This cotton tea towel features the striking imagery from Ardmore designs' Zambezi fabric collection. The "lovebird leopards" design features a pair of leopards sitting regally amongst passion flowers and lucky beans, which are associated with magic in Zulu culture.

Leopards are a mark of chieftaincy in Zulu culture, and this regal couple is surrounded by the florets and lucky beans of the coral tree. Every Ardmore pillow is individually cut and sewn in Johannesburg, South Africa. They are the perfect addition to any room in the house and are certain to bring color, charm, and a story to your interior.

Our cotton fabric is digitally printed onto a bleached base cloth for the most vibrant and detailed Ardmore prints. Our satin weave cotton has a luxuriously soft feel, and we suggest treating it with care to preserve vibrant colors.

The napkins are fabulous. So are the coasters and placemats. The napkins wash beautifully with cold water and care. The secret is " common sense " and gentle cleaning. I left a glass of ice water on a coaster overnight...next morning the puddle of water simply wiped off. Let it air dry before storing. We use silica gel packets in everything.
