Fresh, spirited, and above all, luxurious, the rugs of the Matterson collection can invigorate a traditional room as gracefully as they can ground a more contemporary space. Regardless of their color and style, there is just one thing about these rugs that is not modern. Each is painstakingly handcrafted by artisans using time-honored techniques.

I picked the Ivory rug and it did not disappoint! I love this room now!. Suzan. AL. Mon Jul 13 2026

A lively accent for any room, this indoor area rug combines a contemporary aesthetic with dynamic glam style. It takes a fun leopard print and creates a fun ombré-like effect, while beige and black tones set the stage for contrast and vintage charm. Handwoven from wool, it's resilient even as it shows off a 0.37" pile. Roll it out over a rug pad in your living room, entryway, home office, or bedroom. Comes with a cotton backing for additional stability.

Much lighter than I thought but I still love it. Good quality.. Janice. Fri Sep 04 2026

Birds of a feather, layered in a perfect contemporary abstraction. Woven in Tibetan wool with accents in Chinese silk, this modern design blends subtle shades of dark brown, brown, gray, platinum, taupe, dusty mauve, khaki, warm tan, and stone. This piece has been crafted by hand in our true 100-knot quality.

The safari style of this decorative Acadia rug collection is artfully crafted with a humane design in mind. An innovative pairing of acrylic and polyester fibres creates the course impression of hair-on-hide, giving each animal print rug the look of leather with a touchable texture. A suede backing adds a supple finish to the underside of this decorative floor covering, exhibiting exquisite attention to detail that is cosmopolitan yet compassionate and cruelty-free.

The Print is incredible! Great addition to my breakfast nook.. Angela. Detroit, MI. Wed Apr 22 2026

Juxtaposing raw and refined, feminine and masculine, classic and contemporary, the play of opposites is greatly echoed in Wearstler's new designs. “I am consistently inspired by raw, painterly silhouettes. The graceful imperfections and idiosyncrasies of hand-painted designs possess so much soul. This pattern has a sense of depth and movement highlighted by a subdued, tonal color palette. It makes a quiet statement while adding dimension and spirit to any space.” Kelly Wearstler
