This handmade area rug has a classic look that adds a boho aesthetic to your space. Hand-knotted from a blend of wool and cotton, its natural materials offer cushion as well as resistance to stains and moisture. The design features a timeless, central medallion pattern with botanical and geometric shapes in bright hues of red, blue, yellow, navy, and green. The short fringe on either end adds some fun texture. With a thick 0.67'' pile height, this rug is great for rooms that need to feel cozier but aren't high in foot traffic like a family room or den. We recommend adding a rug pad for stability (sold separately).

It’s gorgeous. I did my research. I checked some of the top rug stores in Raleigh, North Carolina and this by far was the best deal. The pile was 3/4 of an inch. The rug was handknotted and soft. What a great price! it was almost half the price of what I saw in the stores or online elsewhere. It looks even better in person. Also, it and was delivered in record time. unfortunately, I can’t add a photo yet until I have help placing it on my wood floor. Cat. Raleigh, NC. Wed Sep 09 2026

The Antique Chinese - Peking Chinese Blue 1880s Blue Rug is a magnificent example of late Qing Dynasty weaving from the 1880s. Hand-knotted from wool in China, this rectangular rug features a deeply saturated indigo field that serves as a dramatic backdrop for delicate floating motifs. The central medallion depicts stylized phoenixes, symbolizing grace and good fortune, while the open field is adorned with traditional peonies, butterflies, and cloud bands. A complex border system of geometric fretwork and lotus blooms frames the composition. With a 0.5-inch pile height, this large-scale piece offers historical depth and powerful color saturation, making it an ideal choice for grand, formal interiors. Its refined balance of imperial symbolism and expansive design reflects the pinnacle of Chinese court textiles from the late 19th century.
