Originally designed as wallpaper in 1896 this Morris and Co. weave displays a distinctive thistle motif. Reinterpreted as a woven jacquard quality Thistle Weave's subtle light-reflecting yarns give a delicate shimmer to the ground contrasting against the thistle design.

Originally a monochrome precursor to Morris' much-loved strawberry thief this evocation of the English hedgerow from 1882 features thrushes in a vertical entwine of flowers and foliage. Bird and anemone weave delights in this same charming entanglement but with the added tactility of a robust and chunky weave. Perfect for the outdoors which it so wonderfully represents.

Taken from an incomplete sketch which is believed to be an early idea for embroidery this design is attributed to William Morris. The Morris & Co. studio carefully evolved the original artwork into a complete all-over repeat honouring Morris's intent while finishing the composition. Where Morris had marked out stitches for embroidery the design team retained this delicate linework preserving the charm and honesty of the original drawing. Unique and authentic just like Morris. A full colour embroidered border has been added to the left-hand side nodding to the intended direction of the incomplete sketch which is thought to have been conceived as a border or stripe element. The central embroidered silhouette is fully covered in a freehand stitching style closely following the form of the original drawing. This panel seamlessly blends the storytelling between the initial concept and the final vision. Finished with a technique that feels truly handcrafted.

An elegant symmetrical fabric design printed on cloth, inspired by a collection of linens Morris first admired in the South Kensington Museum. Today's version has been printed with subtle shading to reproduce the aged patina of the original fabrics. A wonderful choice for statement furniture pieces.

This magnificently brooding 1900 design from J.H. Dearle portrays gallant seedheads and miniature flowers connected by swirling foliage. The arrangement is classically Dearle in style originally a woolen weave. The flow and boldness of the design perfectly suit the box weaving technique.
