Designed in 1892, Blackthorn was originally block-printed and features white blackthorn (or sloe) blossoms and violets with meadow flowers of red snakes head fritillaries and yellow daisies. The flowers bloom from a lattice of curling foliage, leaves, and stems in this iconic Morris pattern. Typical of Morris’ work, Blackthorn is a celebration of the beauty of nature. Blackthorn Plum contains a mixture of cranberry, mustard yellow, and terracotta tones, accompanied by accents of light greys and peach, laid upon a rich plum background. This wallpaper is finished with a matte finish, adding a contemporary feel to this classic design by Morris.

Very pretty and looks just like the images!. Kjerstin. Reno, NV. Mon Jun 01 2026

The swirling rhythms and complex structure of this wallpaper made it the choice for Morris himself when decorating his dining room at Kelmscott House. Designed in 1876, this painterly wallpaper is available in robust, feminine colorways.

Beautiful wallpaper but very hard to install. The paper was extremely difficult to cut. Despite difficult installation I love the end result. I enjoy that the paper has zero sheen.. Taylor. West Palm Beach, FL. Tue Jul 21 2026

Reportedly one of Morris's favorite designs and originally produced in 1876, this wallpaper features clusters of snakeshead fritillaries and is an ideal wallpaper to team with larger-scale Morris fabrics. Available in a wide range of earthy colorways, this design is also available as a fabric of the same name.

It is William Morris so the design is fabulous. The quality of the paper itself and the ease of application are both also stellar. It transformed the powder room. (Hint It is complemented by wainscoting).. Homeowner. NC. Wed Jul 24 2024

Beautiful paper and great quality!. Stephanie. Billings, MT. Sat Feb 14 2026

Entwined lily stems and tendrils are arranged along a strong diagonal, designed by J.H. Dearles in 1899. One of the greatest legacies of Morris & Co. This wallpaper is printed in airy colorways, along with two deeper colorways - both styles create drama in their own way.

Stunning paper. I don’t have it up yet but will try to send a picture when I do. Elizabeth. Nashville, TN. Tue Sep 21 2021

The swirling rhythms and complex structure of this wallpaper made it the choice for Morris himself when decorating his dining room at Kelm Scott House. Designed in 1876 this surface-printed wallpaper is available in feminine yet robust colorways.
