This rug exudes modern elegance with its luxuriously plush, shaggy texture and contemporary abstract design. The overall color is a soft, creamy white with subtle tonal variations, adding depth and interest while maintaining a clean, minimalist look. The abstract pattern is subtle, blending seamlessly into the background, giving the rug a sense of organic movement. This beautiful handwoven thick shag rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool, using mill-spun yarns. Made in India, the yarn is locally dyed in the traditional vat dying method. Before the first wash, the back of each rug is mildly burnt with hand-held flame-emitting stoves. The rugs are given two rounds of rigorous washing, to provide the softest comfort underfoot. The finishing process includes hand shearing, with a unique and exaggerated one-sided tassel fringe. Each tassel is twisted and rolled by hand into bunches with a knot tied at each end, for a unique hand-crafted appeal.

We’ve had this rug for a few months now, and it has yet to stop shedding. We constantly have white fuzz all over the house and if you walk on this rug with wool socks on you get a layer of that same fuzz all over your feet. We can’t wait to get rid of it.. Rich. Billings, MT. Sun Mar 10 2024
