Cleo was inspired by a pattern plastered to a friend’s bedroom in Baltimore in the early 2000s (who later became a DJ). Merenda created a kindred version with subtle colorways to be less dramatic, while still remaining impactful. Reflection was created using crumbled and dyed wax paper. The pattern takes on its own form depending on the color and its surroundings. Light bouncing off the bottom of a pool or a marble countertop, Reflection was inspired by allowing ourselves the space to step back and reflect on life. A hand-drawn interpretation of a traditional ornate damask, Parlor Paper balances structure with gesture. The design features layered florals and scrollwork, rendered in painterly washes and soft pencil shading that lend a sense of movement and immediacy to a historically formal layout.

The paper is high quality and the pattern is pretty, but the pattern overlaps by 1" on each sheet. So when you lay sheets across a wall you end up with 1" overlaps, which aren't super noticeable but still kind of annoying.. Matthew. Mon Oct 12 2026
