I bought two of these rugs for rooms that were open and adjacent to each other. I was a little concerned that the bold pattern would dominate the space but was pleasantly surprised that the muted colors and irregular pattern actually provided a nice backdrop. There are enough colors that you can pull from for accessories. One caveat - the black isn’t as bold as it looks in the picture which for my purpose was a good thing.
