Trends toward modern and transitional home furnishings inspired designer Tracy Porter's Poetic Wanderlust to create the Issabell Collection. Traditional damask floral and panel designs are stylized and woven in an updated palette of warm spice tones and cool blues and grays. Hand-knotted in premium New Zealand wool each piece is antique finished to impart movement in the design and background as well as a soft hand.

If you want a rug that lasts, look for a style with plenty of versatility. The collection by Basics is made of 100 percent wool and is hand-tufted. The heathered blues, gray, and sand colors make it easy to mix and match these styles with existing rugs and furniture pieces. Layered or on their own, they add a lovely touch of color to a room and will last longer than trendy patterns or styles.
