Rectangular rug combines a soft short wool pile with horizontal rows of the extra short pile, creating a subtle pattern. Finished at the edges with a contrasting color line and short fringes coming out from the base.

Very pretty and nice that it is washable.. Aren. UT. Wed Apr 08 2026

The simple, minimalist design of the Steppe rug consists of a low pile wool surface cut across by rows of the extra-short piles that provide a subtle striped pattern. The edges are finished with a strip of bare cotton canvas, that frays into tousled fringes under a narrow line of tufted wool, in a contrasting color. The wool is undyed and owes its natural hues to sheep of various origins from around the world, such as the Persian brown. As in all the Sheep of the World collection, the Steppe rug includes a 20% proportion of New Zealand wool in its composition for premium quality and added softness.

This small, cozy washable rug pays tribute to sheep by imitating the shape of their hide, however, made in a long pile of wool tufted over a cotton canvas base. This design in beige wool from Tunisia is mixed with 20% of New Zealand's top-range wool. A soft and fluffy textile piece to be used as a bedside rug, to decorate any little corner of the house, or as a cover to snuggle up on, always adding that extra bit of coziness to one's favorite place.

The true colors of natural wool stand out in this plush and elegant, long pile rug that is available in 3 sizes. Its extra-large version provides a luxurious floor covering for the greater rooms. Tufted mainly in a soft 2-cm pile, this simple yet elegant design sports a strip of longer pile wool that emerges across the surface to provide texture and enhance the fabric’s natural softness. This design comes in a beautiful plain sheep white wool of Middle Eastern origin.

Inspired by classic mosaics, this area rug features a checkered pattern in quartz pink color. Handcrafted with short wool tufting over a dark brown canvas base, this timeless design offers versatile style and long-lasting durability. Thanks to our WOOLABLE® patent, it’s machine washable at home, lightweight, and more flexible than traditional tufted wool rugs—a perfect combination of beauty and functionality for daily life.
