The artist, Richard Ryder, developed an affinity towards art at an early age where he took every opportunity to incorporate art into his assignments. During his early years, while attending elementary school, he would doodle on the blank side of envelopes or any discarded paper. This drove his passion to pursue taking studio art courses while in high school & continued that pursuit through to four-year formal art education. As an artist that is heavily influenced by graphic design, Art Deco, and traditional animation, Richard aims to capture the beauty in whichever subject he is painting. He focuses on ways to exploit the basic elements of art to create a satisfying and cohesive design. As an artist, Richard seeks to improve and challenge himself. He states, With the internet, I am constantly inspired by art either in the fine art or commercial field. It is this exposure that leads me to constantly explore different mediums and styles.

Artist Giselle Kelly was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She studied fine art at university with an emphasis on engraving, where she drew deep inspiration from Oriental art. During her studies, she utilized traditional tools such as ink sticks, bamboo brushes, and handmade paper. To Giselle, art represents every moment and a focus on one’s feelings. Her inspiration is drawn from her life experiences—nature, travel, people, and music—and she is particularly interested in landscape photography. She enjoys working with a variety of mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, and Oriental ink.

Former Atlanta-based artist Kyle Goderwis graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. In 2006, he was invited to participate in his first gallery show. Since then, he has showcased his work in over a dozen gallery shows in the Southeast. In 2010, Kyle joined a group of working professional artists to further his education in the fine art world. A recent transplant to Seattle, he has been with Grand Image since 2014 and creates a variety of abstract and expressionist paintings and other mixed-media artwork.
