Constructed from durable all-weather wicker and a powder-coated aluminum frame, a hydraulic arm prevents the lid from slamming while closing, and teak handles provide both function and beauty. The box is lined with a removable, water-resistant fabric that has holes to allow for drainage.

This is an excellent Deck Box. However the assembly instruction's position on the hook up of what you call 'the hydraulic hinge' is wrong as it is also in you promotional picture. The hook up in my box was right under the lid not towards the middle of the sidewall....Please correct that because it can be rather confusing.
