The bowl on this light is gorgeous- I got the white, which is actually a cream- I think this is what we are paying for. It's quite large, and hopefully looks good in our foyer when the electrician hangs it. Here is my beef- they stated that the rods and hardware were copper. They are not. They are dark, more of an oiled bronze. I'm picky about my metals. The copper was a deciding factor for me. I almost returned it, but decided instead to use copper gilding paste to "copperize" the metal. The picture shows the original dark rod, then my work on the rod. I did all of the metal on the lamp with the paste. Once I polish it, I'll have the look of aged copper. This is actually pretty easy to do-change the color of metals with metallic gilding pastes..
