Smooth candlestick colonnades form a classical counterpoint to Cheshire’s extravagant details. The dramatic contrast of matte black shades with cast metal makes a striking design statement. Coordinated shade interiors amplify the hue of our hand-rubbed Aged Brass and Antique Nickel finishes.

Love it! Quality is amazing. Nataliya. Los Angeles, CA. Tue Sep 06 2022

The Malvasia Wall Sconce brings a wink of old-world character to a hallway or dining room wall with a fluted shade, dentil detailing, and a sculptural hand that appears to hold the light in place. Crafted from metal, it leans traditional and tailored, with knob-like fittings that add a collected, vintage feel.

Absolutely love this fixture-it is weighty, charming and exactly what I hoped it would be. Said it was on back order, but came within a week! Love it.. Catherine. San Antonio, TX. Fri Jul 10 2026

The fixture’s timeless colonial styling is as stunning in a New England saltbox as it is in an upper East side townhouse. Tall glass shades—inspired by those that originally encased wax tapers—feature scalloped edges and an etched grain motif. Cast metal shows its strength and beauty in the beading that rings the heavy circular backplate. Hand-rubbed encasing fixtures and patinated finishes further accentuate the fine details.

Bought to go in the upper hallway of our Greek Revival house -- stunning! Exactly as described.. Toni. Omaha, NE. Sat Sep 14 2024

The circular nose of a 19th-century locomotive lends inspiration to Milton’s decorative backplate. Smooth metal rails support intricately tooled lamps, which we cap with opal glass shades. The shades are pressed to resemble pleated fabric and trimmed with contrast metal piping. Milton’s attractive details add historic character to any well-appointed space.

Perfect by my fireplace. Beautiful, great quality and price!. Bob. MN. Tue Dec 04 2018

Options such as wire guarding and a swing arm provide ample opportunities to expand on the old-fashioned elegance already embodied by fixtures. Its pleated shade and finely trimmed silhouette possess an enduring elegance, while its stepped backplate suggests the quality of its construction.

These are even better in person. Used on either side of a bathroom mirror and very happy with how they turned out. Kay. Mission Hills, KS. Tue Oct 20 2026

This fixture reveals these elegantly cast sconces to be traditionally informed. All the hallmarks of early fixtures are there—classical details like ball finials, bobeches, and candle cups, historically honored forms for backplates. Whether you opt for the pleated shade or the rimmed hurricane glass, the historic influence of this fixture, cast to our usual rigorous standards, will shine through.

Very pretty. Sharon. North Falmouth, MA. Fri Jun 26 2026
