Reminiscent of the lush color and luminous cheerfulness found in Gustav Klimt’s paintings of flower gardens, Hollyhocks was created especially for House of Hackney by American artist Kerry Simmons, based on her work of the same name. Repainted in a rich ‘autumn’ colorway that captures all the romance of cottagecore, this large cushion is made in Britain from superbly soft velvet.

Reminiscent of the lush color and luminous cheerfulness found in Gustav Klimt's paintings of flower gardens, the Hollyhooks print was created especially for House of Hackney by American artist Kerry Simmons, based on her work of the same name. Made in Britain, this cushion is swathed in superbly soft velvet with a gold-toned ruched trim, capturing all the nostalgia and romance of cottagecore. Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square meters of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
