I hope this is sterling silver because it is very nice. I was surprised when I opened the box. J. Brooklyn, NY. Tue Jun 10 2025

With its intricate sculpturing and expert craftsmanship, Buttercup Sugar Spoon is jewelry for the table. Your loved ones deserve only the best.

Finely crafted with the graceful elegance associated with 18th Century France, this stately pattern was first introduced in 1895. The intricate design is embellished with a cascade of deeply carved borders showcasing a slender raised central panel along the handle and a more substantial open panel that can be monogrammed near the tip, which is crowned with a delicate fleur de lis.

Featuring a classic beaded design on the handle, the Lyndon Pierced Buffet Spoon offers style and grace to any setting. Made of durable 18/10 stainless steel, this serving spoon features a pierced bowl and is perfect for serving vegetables.

This spoon is beautiful and wonderful quality, but I thought that I was ordering a smaller serving spoon(my Reed and Barton set of stainless steel flatware came with a hostess set of serving spoons(the solid spoon, the pierced serving spoon(which I accidentally threw away), and a serving fork(these pieces are about 8.5 inches long). The spoon I received is the huge buffet pierced spoon. I am afraid to order another one, for fear that it will be buffet size. I will just keep this one, although I doubt that I will have any occasion to use it. If you have a pierced table spoon that is NOT the huge buffet size, please e-mail me, and I will order it(does not matter what the pattern is).. Elizabeth. Point Pleasant, WV. Mon Mar 20 2017
