The Perpetual Collection is created from Portland cement combined with natural sands, clean water, and ramie as natural bonding materials. No resin or fiberglass is ever used. Rubber stripping glides protect floors. All products are fully recyclable at the end of the life cycle. Perpetual tables, stools, and benches are breathtaking indoors and beautifully weather-resistant in normal outdoor conditions.

The Cast Naturals collection highlights our skills at taking an innovative material and making it feel as if it sprang from nature. The black round cast petrified wood stool is made of composite that has been molded to look like a piece of aged wood that it took nature eons to create. It takes great skill for our artisans to paint the material to make it so convincingly resemble woodgrain. The advantage of having a wood stool made from this durable material is that it will long outlast its natural counterparts pulled from the forest floor. This piece is the perfect representation of the Phillips Collection ethos: modern organic. We have several offerings that exhibit the feel of petrified wood.

Cast from a burnt wood stool, these resin stools have all of the texture of burnt wood without the mess of ash. Finished in a matte black color, the Charred stools have the look and feel of real burnt wood.

Got this as an extra piece of accent furniture to chose from for a large client project, but when it arrived we found a home for it immediately in the sunroom. It was adorable and completely as described!. Denise. Brooklyn, NY. Fri Feb 09 2024

Great value for price. Looks far more expensive than it was!. Donna. Telluride, CO. Wed Dec 10 2025

Imitating nature is one thing, but bringing the elemental symbols we see in the woods a hint of bling is a passion for us at Phillips Collection. Cast from a real log, this tree-trunk stool in our cast naturals collection personifies our ethos of modern organic. By treating the surface of this log stool to such a brilliant finish, we’ve created a chic piece for contemporary interiors. Just imagine how perfectly it will fit into the décor of a modern apartment or a sleek coastal condo! We have a number of tables and decorative pieces in varied finishes in this family of products.

I ordered this in gold. This was a piece that made me a little nervous. It could be totally divine or lean a little tacky. When I saw it in person, I loved it! It’s beautiful and works perfectly in the space. A few weeks later I was looking through a wonderful book by legendary New York interior designer Alex Papachristidis, and I saw what I believe to be the exact stool he has used in a fabulous house in the Hamptons. I already loved the piece, but seeing his stamp of approval made me realize I had bought something really special. If you’re considering this piece, go for it!. Jonathan. Sat Mar 01 2025

This accent stool appears as if it's been taken directly from nature. Made from solid teakwood, it comes in a textured, rustic finish that lends even more organic notes to the overall look and feel of the piece. Though there are hints of a drum silhouette, the root-like surfaces and live edge make this stool a unique addition to living rooms, bedrooms, and back patios. It's safe to use occasionally in outdoor spaces, but we recommend covering or storing indoors during inclement weather or when not in use.
