The timeless painterly quality comes to life in a pattern that calls to mind an animal print. Originally painted by madcap cottage designer John Loecke, mill reef is one of our favorite patterns. Under the madcap cottage for the Port 68 collection, the mill reef lamp is a design classic. Scaled in a double gourd shape, this porcelain lamp works well next to the sofa, end table, or buffet. Available in indigo and green with white accents. The lamp will ship with our classic off-white hardback shade (as shown), but the madcap gents suggest mixing it up with one of their patterned shades from their collection. We have also shown the lamp with daffodil Isleboro Eve hardback shade. The sun porch in the madcap's house of bedlam is shown with a pair of lamps with the ever-so-happy, daffodil Isleboro eve shades. As the gents would say - "bring the adventure home". Aged brass finished metal hardware. Metal ball finial.

The lamps are lovely. Nicely made, heavy and substantial. The shipping was superb. No way these were coming damaged. Really happy with them.. Laura. O Fallon, MO. Mon Nov 11 2024

Add movement and beauty to your home with the Essex Lamp. Featuring a double gourd shape, this white glazed porcelain vase has hand painted blue swirled brush strokes. The base and finial are finished in antique gold leaf. An ecru silkette drum shade helps to achieve a transitional design perfect for a bedroom nightstand or dresser. Design may vary.

Inspired by a fabled English country house not far from Oxford and Blenheim Palace, this floral fantasy whisks a spirited splash of British beauty back home. The colorful floral pattern by Madcap Cottage is captured on porcelain lamps and an oval planter in colors of blue and white, and a mix of emerald/pink/yellow. The double gourd classic shaped lamp is accented with brass hardware and a lucite square base. Crystal ball finial.

The Malaprop Table Lamp brings the collected charm of classic pottery to a living room vignette, with an artful brushstroke motif that reads fresh and painterly. Its ceramic body is paired with acrylic details and topped with a linen shade for a soft, traditional glow that layers easily with other heirloom-style pieces.

Not quite the colors that I expected. I believed the colors were blue and white rather than blue and light blue. However, beautifully made and compliments the other lamp in the room. A keeper!. Marisol. Mandeville, LA. Tue Jun 09 2026

I saw this beautiful lamp on U Tube at the home of an interior designer. I knew it was what I wanted for my study to go beside my blue chair.. Camille. Houston, TX. Sat Dec 09 2023
