Image brush gel finish is a hand-applied gel finish using strokes that follow the line of the original image giving it a subtle texture. It involves applying thick coats of gel using a brush or knife to give 3d texture to the art even once dried.

This is a beautiful print that fits in perfectly with the decor in our sitting room. Very peaceful and serene. At the recommendation of Design Services, we ordered the 'glass coat' to create a more 'high end' look. Unfortunately, we get a lot of natural light in this area which creates a glare. The artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900’s. During D’Alessandro’s studies he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.
