This is a beautiful rug. It has a tight weave, but it has a nice, thick firmness to walk on. It is made very well. It is made of wool, but it has not shed like a lot of wool rugs do. I plan on putting this under a bed in a guest room. It is so pretty. I hate to hide it. I feel like you could get away without a rug pad because of the thickness of the rug. I don’t believe you would need one, but that is up to the buyer. I gave it five stars because it is a high-quality rug for the price point.. Liz. Springfield, MO. Sat Mar 07 2026

Very high quality looped wool rug. The loops are small and tight. There are no areas of inconsistency. It came rolled and lay flat within a few days. The colors were very accurately depicted online. I had one hiccup, the rug was punctured during shipping. Monica. Tenafly, NJ. Sat Nov 01 2025

The Timitra Collection is hand-tufted and crafted from 100% Indian wool. A refined interplay of loop and cut pile creates a softly sculpted surface, with precise clipping that reveals subtle dimension. Pattern emerges through variation in pile height rather than bold color contrast, allowing texture and contemporary design to take center stage.
