This pot is ceramic, heavy and substantial. It is very expensive so that is why I took a star off. I was hesitant to purchase this pot due to the hefty price; however it does match perfectly with my new floating numbers which also came from Wayfair and I am very pleased with the look.. Linda. I am very happy with the two planters. Perfect size and color. I received them in perfect condition. Please try to find a less annoying packing material. The foam chips are a pain to deal with and not good for the environment. I have had some fragile items shipped with a cardboard like material that absorbs shock very well.. John. Poulsbo, WA.
