This striking rug is a beautiful piece of modern art that has both a primitive and contemporary feel. The bold lines are modern and give it the feel of a modern expressionist piece of artwork. The sharp lines look like something like cracked paint or something you might expect to find in an aged urban environment.

A striped multicolored Armenian Gabbeh weave rug. This handcrafted Armenian Horizon rug was made in Armenia with 100% wool with a weave similar to the Iranian Gabbeh. The vibrant colors used in this design are created using all-natural vegetable-based dyes. The design of this Horizon rug was crafted with the individual creativity of the weavers who use their own inspirations for the design, making it a one-of-a-kind work of art. This pattern incorporates bold striations of color which have a muted effect created with the incorporation of black throughout the design. The edges of each color fade into each other instead of creating hard lines.
