This chandelier is a bewitching sight. Its robust ring of oyster shells bursting with colors and textures. Presented simply with a rustic wrought iron frame and this chandelier is a bold centerpiece in any space.

This is a conversation piece. We put this up at our beach house. We only had 8 ft ceilings in the dining area so sizing a chandelier to not look too dinky or take up too much visual space was a challenge. This beautiful fixture was exactly what the room needed. It definitely has scale to it but the design doesn't really block the room visually. Cons: this arrives in a 4 ft by 4 ft box. We were transporting from home to the beach and had to borrow a truck to get it down there. It wouldn't come close to fitting in a Yukon XL. The oyster shells are just glued on so you do have to watch out for shells falling off. It comes with extra shells and they are thickly applied so you don't really notice a few falling off. Ethereal in its overall vibe, the Bon Vivant Large Semi-Flush Mount was designed by Tom Caldwell. The discs that effervesce with illumination are made of Capiz shells ringed in a decorative metal edge that matches the gold finish on the rest of the fixture. The thinness of the wires that fasten the discs to the frame and each other is a sophisticated design detail. This gold semi-flush is convertible to a chandelier when the lower canopy is removed.
