With its low, broad bowl, the Smerlato Planter holds a real collection of foliage rather than a single stem, which makes it a good choice for a mixed arrangement by a door or beside a porch step. It is molded from fiberglass-reinforced concrete blended with stone and shell, which gives the body a shifting speckle rather than a flat cast-stone look. It is frost resistant and drains through an open hole in the base, so it can stay planted outside through the cold months.

Characterized by their organic shapes, dramatic scale, and clean lines these planters are stone cast with color all the way through and work outdoors. Very durable and lighter than concrete.

Designed to live outdoors in exposed conditions, the Ridge Planter is molded from fiberglass-reinforced concrete mixed with stone, mother-of-pearl and shell. Ground shell and stone break the surface as a fine speckle, so the body has some life in it when the sun hits. The body is frost resistant and drains from an open hole in the base, the two things that decide whether a planter can be left outdoors year-round. Set a pair at either side of a door, or use one to anchor the corner of a patio.

If planter left outside then it should be covered to prevent water, snow, and ice from accumulating inside the planter.

These are beautiful. They were well packed and arrived in perfect condition. These are very large and will make exactly the impression we want here at the museum.. Teresa. AR. Tue Aug 27 2019
