It’s beyond beautiful! Very sturdy and made well! It’s a rubber wood with a veneer cover at the top but I love that bc it’s so easy to manage with three small kids. If something spills, it comes right up you don’t need to worry about it seeping into the wood. It is darker tho than pictured which is what I was banking on based on other reviews and I love the real, true color. You still have the wood grains and grooves on the top so it may be hard to write on (homework and such) but that’s never been an issue for us! Cleans up so easily. Easy to put together!
