Based on a George the 2nd design this is a fresh take on the original design. The raffia wrapped version is a classic example of taking a traditional form and making it modern. Designed by Jamie Merida.

The console table in white is inspired by our very popular cocktail table. It features white lacquer on wood with metallic gold detailing and a step-down design.

Beautiful….can use it in many places in home, in addition to use as a server in the dining room….my original thought. Constance. Nassau, Florida. Sat Jan 24 2026

Beautifully hand-painted cherry blossom design on gold and silver console.

Many elegant points about this table. The decorative corner brackets could have be a different design though. They don't blend with the rest of the table completely. But design is subject to interpretation and others will love it. I like it enough that I'm keeping it.. Daniel. Wed Apr 29 2026
