Deep chocolate-brown shag fibers catch caramel and tan highlights, giving the surface a rich, tonal look. This rug is hand-woven from wool and polyester at a 1.5-inch pile height with a cotton backing, giving it a thick, soft feel underfoot. Each rug is handmade over about 4 months, so slight variations in shade and texture are part of its character.

I love the color of this area rug .. The colors are more rust and browns which look nice against the maple hardwood floor and fireplace . I like the long shag but it is difficult to vacuum .... Deidre. Mcgregor, IA. Mon Apr 01 2019

Dense strands of chocolate brown polyester stand tall across this shag rug, giving the surface a soft, tousled finish. Hand-woven, the 1.5-inch high pile stays full and soft underfoot. Each rug is handmade over roughly four months. A cotton backing helps it lay flat. Shake out gently and spot clean with a damp cloth.

The quality and richness of color is better than expected.. Doreen. CA. Mon Jan 06 2025

This specialty rug is not for everyone. It's very unique and in the right setting, gives that WOW factor. My client wanted just a rug and I was excited to find it here.. Vickie. Pismo Beach, CA. Wed Jul 05 2023

Introduce a deeply tactile foundation that balances dramatic volume and intricate detail. This hand-woven shag area rug relies on a dynamic material blend to achieve its rich, cascading aesthetic. Thick wool threads provide a substantial, ultra-soft base that is extensively interspersed with thin polyester strands. The distinct varying thicknesses of this mixed pile create an organic, fluid sense of movement across the surface. The eclectic, earthy palette of brown, green, gray, and orange wool is beautifully accented by the silver polyester threads, building profound visual depth without relying on a traditional woven pattern. Meticulously constructed by hand over an average of four months, the dense composition ensures a robust build while cultivating an inviting, contemporary atmosphere perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, or cozy lounges.
