Long, loose shag fibers in deep charcoal and gray are threaded with black and white strands, creating a salt-and-pepper depth across the surface. This rug is hand-woven from wool and polyester at a 1.5-inch pile height with a cotton backing, giving it a thick, soft feel underfoot. Each rug is handmade over about 4 months, so slight variations in shade and texture are part of its character.
I love the color of this area rug .. The colors are more rust and browns which look nice against the maple hardwood floor and fireplace . I like the long shag but it is difficult to vacuum .... Deidre. Mcgregor, IA. Mon Apr 01 2019
