What distinguishes these hand-knotted Agra patterns, are the large floral palmettes. The new innovation of this rug collection is the texture and colors. The antique effect in these rugs is achieved with a combination of the finest quality spun wool together with a simple soap wash and new contemporary colors.
Hand-knotted in China using a mixture of New Zealand and Mongolian premium quality wool, this lustrous wool comes from sheep’s wool with a high content of lanolin. This improves the resiliency and therefore the quality of the carpet, coupled with colorfast chrome-based dyes for that extra luxurious touch. The warp of the weave, or fringe, is made of cotton.
