The glazed planters are high fired at 1000 degrees centigrade to ensure frost resistance and durability. They are also subjected to rigorous testing in freeze-thaw conditions to ensure quality. Due to the processes used in the manufacturing of our hand-made and hand-glazed containers, all variations with respect to firing, color, size, and crackling are not deemed to be defects but are natural occurrences in the manufacturing process. The glazes on their containers consist of natural, not chemical, components and therefore the final color of the product will vary. This process creates the unique beauty of each piece.

Whether growing greenery or lending eye-catching appeal to your alfresco ensemble while empty, this pot planter is a posh pick for any porch or patio. Designed to live outdoors, it is crafted from weather-resistant fiberglass that doesn't mind UV light beaming down or rainstorms rolling through. This piece is understated, taking on a curved silhouette and showcasing a solid finish. Before adding live botanicals, place an aggregate at the bottom of the planter.

What makes these pots unique is the deep blue glaze. The ruffle rim detail at the top adds a feminine touch. The perfect pair for your favorite flowers or herbs.

I got these in green, and the color and shape of these is really beautiful.. Barbara. Alexandria, VA. Mon May 11 2026

This Meola Fiberglass Pot Planter replicates the look of lead, iron, concrete, and terracotta at a fraction of the weight to provide ease of handling. While this is considered frost-resistant, it should be brought in during the winter and stored in a covered, frost-free location away from the elements.

Light weight but looks sturdy.. Carla. St Helena, CA. Tue Jul 16 2019

Unlike traditional glazed terra cotta, Campania’s cold-painted terra cotta has the clay fired prior to applying the finish. This allows for more consistency of color. Color is hand-applied, so there can still be some variations among pieces. Cold painted terra cotta is designed for indoor use only.
